Crafted as a flagship space to represent their collective businesses, this office encapsulates modern work needs while embodying the evolution of dynamic work culture.

The primary requirement from Interisland Group was to design an office that is not just functional, but a striking representation of their brand. Envisioned as a hybrid space that serves multiple purposes, the office needed to be flexible, agile, and more than just a workspace. The client wanted it to showcase their vision and values while functioning as a showroom and a welcoming space for guests and potential investors. This ambitious brief set the stage for an innovative design journey.

Inspired by the concept of a “Gallery of Experience,” we took on the challenge of creating a spatial narrative that guides visitors through the office. The design features a thoughtfully orchestrated flow, merging diverse workspace modules with distinct design landmarks. The intention was to craft an office that is both cohesive and dynamic — a living space that evolves with the needs of its occupants.

The office boasts several standout features, with the front-of-house area, including the Landing Lobby, Open Pantry, and Hotdesking Counter, being the heart of the workspace. By blending these public domains, we crafted a vast, flexible space capable of accommodating various activities, from casual dining to small-scale events. This adaptability aligns perfectly with the client’s vision for a multifunctional environment.

To maintain the uniqueness of each programmed area, we paid meticulous attention to materiality and design selection. Given the open layout, it was crucial to preserve the essence of each space while ensuring an aesthetically cohesive environment. We incorporated natural raw materials such as wood, rattan, and concrete, alongside softer color tones, achieving a balance that both contrasts and complements the overall design language.

Through our visits to the client’s previous office, we recognized the need to foster the dynamic and fast-moving work culture of Interisland Group. Our design reflects the agility and flexibility that their operations require, providing an environment that nurtures collaboration and innovation. We believe that this thoughtfully designed space will not only support their current ethos but will also inspire further growth and evolution in their work culture.
