Temenos

Inspired by the sensation of being “up in the clouds,” the workplace design for Temenos was envisioned as a light, uplifting environment that supports creativity, interaction, and everyday productivity. The concept focuses on creating a space that feels open and welcoming while reflecting the company’s forward-looking approach within the financial technology industry.

To balance Temenos’ strong corporate identity with a warmer spatial experience, the palette introduces natural wood accents across ceilings and wall treatments. These elements soften the overall environment, adding texture and comfort while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic aligned with the brand.

Flexibility and thoughtful functionality play a central role in the design. At the heart of the office, a convertible pool table in the townhall area transforms into a discussion table with a custom timber plank, allowing the same space to support both informal recreation and collaborative meetings. Several rooms are subtly concealed with full-height wallpaper treatments, allowing doors to blend seamlessly into surrounding walls and maintaining a refined, uncluttered visual language. The pantry is reimagined as a workcafé, drawing inspiration from hospitality settings to encourage casual conversations, informal meetings, and social connection among employees.

The spatial journey begins at a defined portal entryway that marks the transition into the workplace. Visitors are welcomed by a holding area featuring the Temenos logo and integrated bench seating, establishing a strong and memorable first impression.

Beyond this point, the layout opens into a vibrant townhall and workcafé breakout zone at the front of the office. This active area sets a dynamic tone for interaction and engagement. Behind this social hub, offices and workstation zones are carefully positioned to reduce noise and distractions, ensuring employees have spaces for both collaboration and focused work.

The result is a workplace that balances energy with calm, openness with privacy, and design with purpose. It reflects Temenos’ culture of innovation while providing employees with a space that is both inspiring and highly functional.
