Samudera – Level 25
Our team at IDI worked closely with Samudera’s in-house designers to bring their vision to life, infusing a lively and dynamic atmosphere into two floors of office space in the CBD, while respecting local sensibilities.
The challenge was to materialize Samudera’s design concept, which was rich in literal and aspirational elements, into a functional and cohesive space.
IDI broke down the broad design concept into individual components, analyzing and identifying the best way to produce each element. We combined the framework into a cohesive design, highlighting potential challenges and cost considerations.
Our team worked closely with Samudera’s designers to develop practical solutions for each component, balancing creative vision with technical feasibility.
The design features a bold and dramatic theme inspired by Samudera’s business in shipping containers and vessels. The interior is filled with visual cues that reflect the company’s maritime heritage, such as exposed wooden beams, nautical rope details, and ship-inspired patterns.
The space is also infused with modern touches, including sleek lines, minimalist furniture, and cutting-edge technology. The result is a unique and captivating atmosphere that reflects Samudera’s brand identity.
The curved reception wall at level 25 is a standout feature, combining lightness with majestic presence. IDI’s team spent countless hours perfecting the intricate design, weighing metal structure versus timber members, and securing every rattan piece in place.
This collaborative effort resulted in a sophisticated and grand feature that sets the tone for Samudera’s operations.
The completed project showcases IDI’s ability to materialize lofty ideals into solid reality. The final design combines creative vision with technical expertise, resulting in a unique and functional space that reflects Samudera’s brand identity.
